Poker Room Celebrates Doyle Brunson Day

Five poker rooms across the U.S. are joining forces to celebrate Doyle Brunson Day on October 2nd with a special promotion honoring the late legendary card grinder. Affectionately known as the Godfather of Poker.

Brunson died in May at the age of 89, leaving an indelible legacy for the industry. One of his most epic moments was winning back-to-back 1976 and 1977 WSOP Main Events with a 10-2 hand and becoming famous ever since.

That’s why the poker community came together to finish second during the last World Series in Las Vegas. October (supposedly October 2nd)’Doyle Brunson Day’ is officially declared to commemorate his contribution to the game.

Doyle Brunson will be celebrated on October 2nd.

The five poker rooms participating in the festivities include the Lodge Poker Club near Austin, Texas, and three additional Live! branded rooms in Pennsylvania and Maryland, as well as the Peppermill Reno in Nevada.

The Lodge, co-owned by influencers and grinders Doug Polk, Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen, will The lucky cash game player who wins 10-2 on October 2 will be awarded a $10,200 (All Things Winner) bonus.
